WHAT DRIVES US
Mission
Vision
Purpose
Our mission is to tangibly care for our neighbors by providing hands-on support in times of crisis, remembering that we love because Christ first loved us. - 1 John 4:19
Our vision is to rejuvenate the fullness of our communities by addressing the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of our neighbors and partnering with them on their journey toward healing and holistic restoration.
Our purpose is to help people move toward healing, stability, and a fuller life by making care, opportunity, and meaningful support more accessible.
WHERE WE STARTED
Early 2000s
Stacie Michelle Darnell, mother of co-founders Brittni Bingham and Brianna Lopez, envisioned a bright, welcoming place where women and abuse survivors could find safety, healing, and support.
The vision found its name after Stacie remarked that “it would have to be wonderful.” Wonder Center grew from that moment.
2012
Brittni and Brianna began paths that would later shape Wonder Center. Brittni studied Business Management and Administration with a focus on children and families, while Brianna studied acting for stage and screen, helping form the organization’s creative foundation.
2020 - 2023
After Stacie’s passing, Brittni and Brianna recognized that their mother’s vision and Brittni’s long-held dream were deeply connected. Wonder Center began taking shape as one shared mission.
2023 - 2024
Program ideas were tested through community work and volunteer service while local needs, service gaps, partnerships, and the organization’s foundation were developed.
2024 - 2025
Wonder Center established its first community partnership and began putting its program model into action.
2026
Wonder Center completed its formal organizational filings in 2026, building on years of preparation, community engagement, and active service.
“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’”
- Matthew 9:37 - 38

We believe meaningful change requires patience, honesty, compassion, perseverance, and a willingness to do the necessary work. It also requires listening. We want to remain transparent, learn from the people we serve, and be willing to change our approach when doing so allows us to serve better. For us, impact is never only about the number of people who enter a program. It is about the father who is healthier, the child who feels supported, the grandparent who has greater stability, and the community member whose life has been strengthened. We believe in servant leadership, leading with compassion, strength, conviction, and the willingness to keep showing up. Our responsibility is to serve faithfully, work collaboratively, and help create the conditions in which people, families, and communities can heal, grow, and thrive.

WONDER CENTER TODAY
Through growing partnerships and community based programs, Wonder Center is reaching neighbors through direct support, creative experiences, spiritual guidance, and collaborative service.
Our Impact
We nurture both individuals and communities, believing lasting change requires attention to both. Our programs support entire neighborhoods through care, connection, and opportunities for growth.
How We Serve
Wonder Center is a mobile, community based organization that meets our neighbors where they are. We take the time to connect people with support and resources that can strengthen their lives beyond the immediate need
Who We Are
We are building toward deeper wellness support, expanded housing and agriculture initiatives, and a strong network of community partners working together for healthier neighborhoods and healthier lives.
